Tradelab performs the calibration of clamp meters with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation.
For the calibration of clamp meters, Tradelab uses the direct current system and the indirect current system.
The direct current system consists of clamping with the clamp a single conductor through which a current value is circulated, generated by means of a standard equipment. The reference value applied to the instrument corresponds directly to the value generated by the standard equipment.
The indirect current system consists of clamping with the clamp a current coil of N turns through which a current value is circulated, generated by means of a standard equipment. The reference value applied to the instrument corresponds to the current value generated by the standard equipment, multiplied by the number of turns (N) of the coil.
