Calibration of coordinate measuring machines, arms, profile projectors

Tradelab performs the calibration of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation according to the following standards and documents:

  • EN ISO 10360-: 2002. Acceptance and reverification tests for coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
  • EN ISO 10360-: 2010. Acceptance and reverification tests for coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
  • ENAC (ILAC) Technical Note NT-15.

According to the dimensions of the CMM, the standard lengths are obtained by longitudinal standard blocks (up to 1 m) or with devices that use laser interferometry (for lengths over 1 m).

 

The calibration of coordinate measuring machines based on these standards establishes the compliance of the CMM with regard to the maximum permissible errors established by the manufacturer or the user in the two parameters measured.

 

Tradelab performs the calibration of articulated arms to ASME B89.4.22 determining the probe error, repeatability, reproducibility and volume measurement error by spherical standard and kinematic seats in different positions within the full arm measurement volume, subdivided into 8 octants.

 

It also performs the calibration of profile projectors and optical CMM. Tradelab carries out its calibration by determining the measurement correction from the x, y, z * axes.

ENAC (ILAC) calibration

  • Calibración con acreditación ENAC de máquinas de medir por coordenadas, en las dos versiones de la norma UNE-EN ISO 10360, hasta 5 metros. Con incertidumbre de calibración (k=2) (2 + 0,003 · L) µm CTE normal para distancia inferior a 1 metro y Incertidumbre de calibración (k=2) de (2 + 0,0028 · L) µm CTE bajo para distancias de entre 1 y 5 metros.   • Calibración con Acreditación ENAC de proyectores y máquinas de medir por coordenadas de visión óptica hasta 400 mm.
Information required to perform a calibration budget:
  • Brand and model.
  • Maximum permissible errors of indication and probe error.
  • Location of the coordinate measuring machines.

It excludes the measurement of other characteristics of the CMM, such as: angular deviation, straightness, perpendicularity, axes parallelism or work table flatness.

Tradelab performs the calibration of a wide range of measuring instruments, in addition to the calibration of coordinate measuring machines, arms or projectors.
