Calibration of force transducers

Calibration of force transducers according to EN ISO 376

Tradelab performs the calibration of standard force transducers according to EN ISO 376 with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation, classes 1 and 2, for cases A (*) and C (**).

The calibration can be performed without indicator (output in mV / V) or with indicator (reading in mV / V or in force units).

(*) When it is used to measure specific forces and only in increasing load. It can be calibrated in the forces that the client may desire. (1 or more).

(**) When it is used to interpolate force values ​​between calibrated forces and of application only in increasing load. It can be calibrated in a minimum of 8 evenly distributed forces, normally from 10% to 100% f.s. This is the one used in the calibration of standard force transducers used in the static calibration of uniaxial testing machines according to EN ISO 7500-1.

ENAC (ILAC) calibration

  • Calibration with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation of standard force transducers according to EN ISO 376 in the direction of tension and compression in the range of 100 N and 500 kN.
  • Calibration uncertainty (k = 2): 0.16%.
  • Calibration in laboratory

Information required to perform a calibration budget:

  • Brand and model.
  • Maximum capacity.
  • Directions of calibration (tension or compression or tension and compression).
  • Forces to calibrate below 10% (5%, 3% ...) if it is necessary.
  • Indication of calibration according to EN ISO 376, case A or C.
