Calibration of power and energy meters and power generators

Tradelab performs the calibration of wattmeter, power analyzer, power generators and energy meters (or watt-hour meters) with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation.

The calibration is by comparing the readings of the calibrated equipment with the indications of a power standard.

Tradelab will carry out a standard calibration of power and energy instruments, unless otherwise stated, of:

  • Alternating voltage 50Hz sinusoidal
  • Alternating current 50Hz sinusoidal
  • Active power 50Hz sinusoidal: the points resulting from the voltage and current calibration.
  • Power factor: 0.8 / -0.8 / 0.5 / -0.5 and 1.

ENAC (ILAC) Calibration

  • Voltage from 1V to 1000V.
  • Current from 1mA to 1000A and 5000A for generators calibrated on-site.
  • Power factor from 1 to -1.

  • Generators and power meters calibration services both in the laboratory and on-site.
Information required to perform a calibration budget:
  • Brand and model of the equipment to be calibrated.
  • The points to calibrate.
  • Number of channels
  • Indicate whether it is associated to one or some current transformers or clamp meters.
