Calibration of radiation thermometers (thermographic cameras or thermal imaging IR thermometers and infrared or spot thermometers.

Tradelab performs the calibration of radiation thermometers with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation, as quantitative temperature measurement devices, with traceability to the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90), using standard radiation thermometers and black bodies as a source of radiation.

In the thermographic camera calibration, the uniformity of the temperature indication in the whole screen is determined.

The calibration of Infrared cameras and radiation thermometers determines the following parameters:

Effect of the source size for the different diameters (optional).

ENAC (ILAC) calibration

Calibration with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation of radiation thermometers with spectral range from 8 μm to 14 μm: -30ºC to 800ºC with a calibration uncertainty (k = 2) from 1.7 ºC to 4.2 ºC.
Calibration with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation of radiation thermometers with spectral range from 0.8 μm to 1.1 μm: 600ºC to 1100ºC with a calibration uncertainty (k = 2) from 3.3 ºC to 4.3 ºC.

Information required to perform a calibration budget:

Brand and model of the Infrared cameras to calibrate.
Temperature points or temperature range to be calibrated (normally the calibration is carried out at 3, 4 or 5 temperatures).
