UV-A radiometers calibration

UV-A radiometers (black light meter) calibration

Tradelab carries out the calibration of UV-A radiometers or ultraviolet black light meter with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation, which is carried out by means of the comparison method of the readings obtained by the standard radiometer with the readings obtained from the radiometer to be calibrated, when both are exposed to the same level of radiation.

Calibration is performed using a UV-A light source with a wavelength of 365 nm ± 5 nm.

Tradelab performs radiometers calibration normally in the following points:

  • 5 W / m2
  • 10 W / m2
  • 17 W / m2

ENAC (ILAC) calibration

  • UV-A radiometers calibration with ENAC (ILAC) accreditation within the irradiance range from 5 W / m2 to 17 W / m2 and λ = 365 nm (S365).
  • Calibration uncertainty (k = 2) of 7.0%.

Information required to perform a calibration budget:

  • Brand and model of the instrument to calibrate

In addition to the calibration of UV-A radiometers, check the different calibration areas offered by Tradelab.
